Lovely and clear day yesterday.  I'd have loved to go to softball practice on Clapham Common, but I had to go to work instead.  Open Day for prospective students, so I was doing library tours and demos for them.  Went OK, except for the lunchtime tour, which was split into two groups -  of 70, then 17.  Just a thought, but rather than ask, "who ( Read more... )

Went into work yesterday, to give library tours for an Open Day and to teach a legal research class.  Very busy - 77 people in at 4.45 on a Saturday, plus tour groups of fifty or more.  But at least that was the last LR class for the year.  And the feedback we get suggests that the students get a lot out of the classes, so they're worth running ( Read more... )
